Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey (VNACJ), Red Bank, recently elected Nilesh Patel, M.D., Regina deGersdorff, and the Rev. Ronald L. Owens as new trustees.
West Long Branch resident Patel will serve as trustee of VNACJ, which oversees the agency’s Medicare/Medicaid-certified home care services.
He is an attending anesthesiologist and chairman of the department of anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
He is a member of the center’s medical policy committee and medical executive committee, a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and board-certified in critical care medicine.
Little Silver resident deGersdorff will serve as trustee of VNACJ’s Community Services Inc., which oversees the agency’s community-based grant-funded programs. She is the global category sales director, home care category at International Flavors and Fragrances, Hazlet.
As sales director, she develops strategic sales plans and goals for global home care category sales and manages projects within the firm’s team in North America, Latin America, Europe/Africa, and Asia/Pacific.
Also serving as a trustee of Community Services is Metuchen resident Owens, senior pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church of Metuchen. He also serves as president and CEO of the House of Hope Community Development Corp. and was general secretary for the General Baptist State Convention of New Jersey.
