Alice Grace Terppe, 60, died Sunday, Feb. 2, at her home.
Born in New York, she was a longtime resident of South Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick in 1985. She retired last May from Rutgers University where she has been employed in dining services for 15 years. She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in South Brunswick.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Terppe of South Brunswick; her daughter, Deborah Terppe of North Brunswick; four sisters, Alma Giske of South Brunswick, Elsie Casey of South Brunswick, Edith Cress of Little Rock, Ark., and Anne Cook of South Brunswick and two grandchildren, Veronica and Brienna Terppe.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb 7, at 7 p.m. at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Sand Hills Road, Kendall Park, N.J. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, N.J. 08902-4301. Arrangements are under the direction of M.J. Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction.
