   CRANBURY — Barbara Rice Flanner, 81, of Cranbury died on Jan. 30 at her home.
   Born in Hartford, Conn., she resided in Hightstown 14 years prior to moving to Cranbury in 1964.
   A former employee of Benson and Benson of Princeton, she also was employed by the former Hightstown Trust Company. Mrs. Flanner also owned and operated the Now And Then Shops in Cranbury.
   She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Peddie Golf course and the Women’s Club, all of Hightstown, and also the D.A.R.
   Mother of the late Susan R. Flanner, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Patrick M. Flanner; one son, Greg U. of Cranbury; two grandchildren, Meghan A. of Ewing Township and Timothy Patrick of New York City; one brother, Robert Rice of West Hartford, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown. Interment was in Brainerd Cemetery in Cranbury. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Flanner’s memory to the church. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home of Princeton.
Jeannette J. Scaletti



   HIGHTSTOWN — Jeannette L. Scaletti, 42, of Hightstown died Jan. 28 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton.
   Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Hightstown for 13 years prior to living in Franklin Park. She attended Franklin High School.
   She was employed by Julie’s Cleaning Service for many years.
   Daughter of the late John and Adele Scaletti, she is survived by her companion, George A. Wickers III; one daughter, Tiffany Scaletti at home; five step-children, George IV, Melissa and Tiffany Wickers and Joseph McGillis and Michael Walker; two sisters, Julienne Gruber of East Windsor and June Williams of Pennsylvania; one brother, John Scaletti of Hightstown; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown. A funeral mass was celebrated on Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown.
   Interment followed in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Louis J. Borriello



   HAMILTON — Louis J. Borriello, 82, of Hamilton died on Saturday at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Borriello was a resident of the Trenton-Hamilton area for many years.
   Mr. Borriello was an avid reader and enjoyed all sports — especially golf. He enjoyed cooking and listening to Frank Sinatra and spending most of his time with his family, his daughter and son-in-law and two granddaughters.
   He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Ronald Friedman of East Windsor, and two granddaughters, Lori Jennifer Gissinger and Dianna Lauren Friedman.
   Private family services will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
   Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
   Arrangements are under the direction of Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown.
Salvador "Sam" Ciaccio



   EAST WINDSOR — Salvador "Sam" Ciaccio, 77, died Sunday at Care One at Hamilton.
   Born in Newtown, Mr. Ciaccio resided in East Windsor most of his life and for the past 18 years. He retired after 25 years with The Co-Operative Growers Association, and he previously owned and operated a produce business in Princeton and Trenton. Mr. Ciaccio also was a World War II Army veteran.
   Son of the late Louis and Felicia Ciaccio, father-in-law of the late Patricia Ciaccio, he is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Joseph Ciaccio of East Windsor and fiancée’ Denise Broll-Dalton of Delran, Thomas and Allison Ciaccio of Hamilton, Louis and Jean Ciaccio of Hillsboro, and John and Donna Ciaccio of Hamilton; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and George Ireland of West Windsor; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Mildred Ciaccio of Boyton Beach, Fla., Joseph and Winnifred Ciaccio of Windsor, one sister, and Frances Domin of Hartford, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Thursday from the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Clergy from St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church officiated. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Joseph J. DiFrancesco



   BURR RIDGE, Ill. — Joseph J. DiFrancesco, 58, of Burr Ridge, Ill., formerly of East Windsor, died Friday, Jan. 31, at Hinsdale Hospital after a two-year battle with multiple myeloma.
   Joe was born in Coaldale, Pa. and raised in Elizabeth. A graduate of Rider University, he was a senior vice president/CFO at McGraw Hill Companies/Higher Education Group and worked for the company for 33 years.
   He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Shinn) of Burr Ridge; his daughter, the Rev. Jennifer DiFrancesco of Marietta, Ga.; and two brothers, Raymond and William of New Jersey.
   A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro, 500 Plainsboro Road, NJ 08536. The Rev. Nancy Lammers Gross will officiate.
