West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South has a new assistant principal.
Dennis Lepold, a language arts teacher at the high school since 2000, will be filling the vacancy recently left by the school’s former assistant principal, Charles Rudnick. Mr. Rudnick was promoted to principal to replace Michael Carr, who retired at the end of December.
The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional Board of Education approved Mr. Lepold’s promotion Tuesday night.
Mr. Lepold is expected to start working as assistant principal as soon as a new language arts teacher is found to take over his classes.
Before coming to the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, Mr. Lepold taught English at South Hunterdon Regional High School.
He has a bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College in English secondary education and a master’s degree from Rider University in education administration.
Mr. Lepold said he is excited about becoming assistant principal. He will have a salary of $81, 210.
