Sally M. Skibitsky
   Sally M. Skibitsky, 74, died on Feb. 6 at the Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in Syracuse, Mrs. Skibitsky has been a resident of Hopewell for 31 years. She was a homemaker.
   Ms. Skibitsky is survived by her husband Walter Skibitsky; two sons Michael, Andrew and Charles Skibitsky; a daughter Ellen Skibitsky; a brother Charles Mills; and grandchildren Andrew, Hope, Shane, Troy, Emily and Chase.
   Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Church, Hopewell.
   Interment will follow the service at Highland Cemetery.
   Arrangements are under the direction of Cromwell Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
John Seamon Mastro-Simone
   John Seamon Mastro-Simone, 88, of Ewing, died Feb. 4 at Capital Health Systems at Fuld.
   Born and raised in Trenton, Mr. Mastro-Simone was a former resident of Lawrence Township and had resided in the Ewing area for the past 33 years.
   An entrepreneur, builder and real estate developer, Mr. Mastro-Simone was a graduate of Trenton High School and worked as a jackhammer spike-driver for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Later he created and operated a cafeteria at General Electric during World War II, serving meals to workers making switch panels for Navy ships. He later became involved in real estate, building and operating Circle Appliance. He built and operated Circle Bowling Lanes, which closed in 1970, for eight years. He also built and operated Franklin Corner Tavern.
   Mr. Mastro-Simone was a former member of the Sunshine Foundation and the Ewing Township 4th of July Parade Committee.
   Son of the late Angelo and Santina Aleo MastroSimone, brother of the late William, Joseph, Charles, Peter, and Mildred Fruscione and Rose Lumia, he is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeannette DeLellis Seamon; four sons and four daughters-in-law, Dr. Angelo and Consuelo MastroSimone of Hopewell, Dr. Robert and Alma MastroSimone of Boynton Beach, Fla., John and Carol MastroSimone of Hopewell and William and Sharon MastroSimone of Titusville; one daughter, Janet MastroSimone of Ewing; two sisters, Mary Szymelewicz of West Trenton and Grace Lavis of Hamilton; one brother, Michael Simone of West Trenton; 16 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Dangira Kirstiene served as his caregiver for the past four years.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Ewing.
   Entombment was in Ewing Mausoleum, Ewing.
Joseph Cooney
   Joseph M. Cooney, 81, of Titusville died Feb. 7, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
   Born in Lambertville, Mr. Cooney had lived in Hopewell Township for 50 years.
   He was an independent contractor based in the Princeton and Pennington area.
   Mr. Cooney was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific with the Seabees.
   Son of the late John and Gertrude Reagan Cooney, he is survived by his wife of 52 years, Louise L. Cooney; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte C. and Theodore Zanidakis of New Hope, Pa.; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas J. and Tonamarie P. Cooney of Douglassville, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Olivia and Joseph Cooney of Douglassville.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. George’s Church, Route 29, Washington Crossing.
   Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Lambertville. Arrangements are by Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.
