TRENTON Nicholas C. Massi, 77, of Trenton, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Morrisville, Pa., he resided in the Trenton area for the past 53 years.
Mr. Massi was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
He retired in 1995 after 25 years as a Trenton area carpenter.
Son of the late Natalae and Mary Pacciotti Massi, is survived by his wife, Dolores R. Rosetti Massi; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark A. Massi of Galloway Township, David and Mary Massi of Hamilton Township and Dean and Kendall Massi of Solebury Township, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Dennis Massara of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., two sisters, Nellie Greco of Lawrenceville and Gloria Perrine of Morrisville, Pa.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alvin and Dolores Rosetti of Trenton, seven grandchildren, Anthony and Michael Massara and Mary Jo, Alexandra, David, Talia and Tea Massi; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Brenna Funeral Home, Trenton. Burial followed in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
TITUSVILLE Joseph M. Cooney, 81, of Titusville died Friday, Feb. 7, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
Born in Lambertville, Mr. Cooney had lived in Hopewell Township for 50 years.
He was an independent contractor based in the Princeton and Pennington area.
Mr. Cooney was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific with the Seabees.
He was the son of the late John and Gertrude Reagan Cooney.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Louise L. Cooney; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte C. and Theodore Zanidakis of New Hope; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas J. and Tonamarie P. Cooney of Douglassville, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Olivia and Joseph Cooney of Douglassville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday at St. George’s Church, Washington Crossing, N.J. Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Lambertville.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.
TRENTON Rose Tuccillo, 93, died Sunday, Feb. 9, at her sister’s home in Trenton.
Born in Trenton, she lived there most of her life.
She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Trenton. She worked at Oxzen Cosmetics in Trenton for many years.
Daughter of the late Caldgero and Maddalena DeSantis Zoda and widow of Fred Tuccillo, she is survived by a sister, Mary Nero of Titusville; a niece, Mary Inzana of Lambertville; and a nephew, Charles Priore of Buffalo.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at the church. Graveside services were held Wednesday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Trenton.
