   Richard Allcroft, 36, of Capricorn Drive has been charged with two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute by county law enforcement officials.
   According to Somerset County Prosecutor Wayne Forrest, Mr. Allcroft was charged and taken into custody on Jan. 30 after detectives from the county’s organized crime and narcotics task force were tipped off that Mr. Allcroft allegedly would be distributing cocaine at a Route 27 restaurant bar.
   Detectives surveyed the establishment, observed Mr. Allcroft enter the parking lot and then approached and advised him of the narcotics investigation. Mr. Allcroft then consented to a search of himself as well as his vehicle and residence. Detectives found three bags of cocaine, with a total street value of approximately $150 in Mr. Allcroft’s vehicle, law enforcement officials said.
   Additional cocaine, totaling approximately $200 in street value, was recovered from his Capricorn Drive residence, officials said.
   Mr. Allcroft was remanded to the Somerset County Jail where he has since been released on $10,000 bail pending a court appearance in Superior Court.

Hillsborough Self-Storage on Route 206 and Hillsborough Road reported at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 25 that thieves had stolen two vinyl banners.
   According to police, the manager of the business said he believes the theft occurred sometime the night prior. The 12-by-14-foot banners, which were white and yellow and read "Now Renting" in red lettering, were valued at $250 each.

A Pierson Drive resident reported at 1:50 p.m. on Jan. 27 that his pickup truck had been burglarized while parked in the Applebee’s parking lot, located in the Hillsborough Promenade.
   According to police, the faceplate to the truck’s stereo system and 25 CDs and a CD holder were stolen from the truck. The resident told police he had locked his vehicle prior to entering the restaurant for lunch, however, police did not discover any evidence of forced entry.
   The resident estimated the total value of the stolen items at $500.

A Pirozzi Lane resident reported at 10 a.m. on Jan. 13 that his mailbox had been struck with a paintball. The resident believes the mailbox was vandalized sometime the night prior.
   The mailbox was not permanently damaged because the paintball paint washed off.
