To the editor:
In last week’s Cranbury Press, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read comments attributed to Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein by a letter writer that class sizes of 35 to 40 children in our local schools are "adequate."
Study after study has proven that our kids learn most effectively in small, focused learning environments with as much one-on-one interaction as possible.
Unless Linda Greenstein has discovered a new, revolutionary method of teaching that the rest of us aren’t aware of, her comments couldn’t be more wrong.
It is concerning to hear elected officials like Linda Greenstein express such indifference to a subject as important as the education of our children. Now more than ever, we need representatives wholly committed to preparing our children to be the leaders of tomorrow. Ms. Greenstein’s recent comments show her priorities simply aren’t the same as ours.
