Charles Czajkowski

   HILLSBOROUGH — Charles E. Czajkowski died Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 85.
   Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Hillsborough in 1946.
   Mr. Czajkowski was employed as a salesman for Monmouth Paper Company in New Brunswick for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Prior to that he was employed by Model Dairy in Somerville and Collegetown Foods in New Brunswick.
   He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
   He was a former member of the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 and the Neshanic Lions Club.
   His wife, Helen Czajkowski, died in 1992.
   Survivors include a son, Ronald of Somerset; one grandchild; one brother, Eugene of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a sister, Adele Wiesnewski of Orlando, Fla.
   Funeral services were held Feb. 18 from Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville, followed by a Mass in Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
