Sheryl Patris, 36, of Bridgewater was charged with driving while intoxicated and several other unspecified motor vehicle violations on Feb. 15.
According to police, Ms. Patris had lost control of her vehicle at about 5:30 p.m. and crashed through a guard rail and down an embankment near the Valley Road-Roycefield Road intersection. After the accident Ms. Patris left her vehicle and walked to a nearby home on Roycefield Road where she was charged and taken into custody after police determined her whereabouts.
Ms. Patris was later released pending an appearance in municipal court. She was not injured in the accident.

Just after midnight on Feb. 1, police responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store on Route 206 on a report of a dispute between a cab driver and his customer.
According to police, the driver from Victory Cab of New Brunswick said his passenger was refusing to tell him specifically where he wanted to be taken. The driver, who had transported the 30-year-old man from New Brunswick to Hillsborough, suspected the passenger was going to try to not pay his fare.
Police resolved the dispute and the passenger was transported in the cab to his destination on Crickhollow Court, where the passenger paid the driver.

A Camplain Road resident reported at approximately 5:15 p.m. Feb. 10 that someone had driven a motor vehicle over his front lawn.
According to police, the resident said he had fallen asleep in his living room in the late afternoon and awoke to find tire marks across his front lawn. The resident told police he was not awakened by the sounds of any loud vehicles and could not identify any possible suspects. The impressions made in the snow by the vehicle do not appear to have caused any damage to the home’s lawn.

A Renate Drive resident reported at approximately 5: 15 p.m. Feb. 8 that someone had vandalized her 1998 white Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck while it was parked outside her residence.
According to police, the vandal sprayed what appeared to be an illegible signature in black spray paint along the length of the passenger side of the truck.
The resident could not provide an estimate as to how much it would cost to repair the vandalism. The resident also said she did not hear or see anything suspicious and could not provide any suspects for the crime.
