Emil C. Witt

   CRANBURY — Emil C. Witt, 82, of Cranbury, died Monday at the Medical Center in Princeton.
   Mr. Witt was born in Cranbury and has been a lifelong resident.
   Mr. Witt owned a farm in Cranbury on Ancil Davison Road until 1957. After selling the farm he worked for Herman Trucking, North Brunswick, for many years, retiring in 1982.
   Mr. Witt was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII, a member of the Hightstown B.P.O.E. Elks for over 40 years, and the Hightstown VFW Post 5700. Mr. Witt was a charter member of the Cranbury First Aid Squad and Past Chief of the Cranbury Fire Co.
   Husband of the late Esther R. Witt, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Linda Witt of Cranbury, and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral service will be held today, Friday, at 10 a.m. at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury with Rev. Dr. Louis Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.

Whyano
   HAMILTON — Patricia Lauer Whyano, 50, died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, she was a local resident all of her life. She was employed as an office manager with the William Pinder Land Surveyors, in Hamilton. Mrs. Whyano was also a member of the St. Raphael’s Church.
   Daughter of the late Dolores Foy Lauer, and sister of the late Timothy Lauer, she is survived by her father, Robert Lauer of Hamilton; one daughter, Amy Collins of Hamilton; one son, Christopher Collins of Windsor; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Dottie Lauer of Levittown, Pa.; and one sister, Nancy Ferrence of Seaside; a special friend, Darby; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Thursday from the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial was held from the St. Raphael’s Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.

   HIGHTSTOWN — June Bird Houck, 88, died on Saturday at the Medical Center of Princeton.
   Born in New York City, she was a Hightstown resident for over 70 years. Mrs. Houck graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in 1936. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church. Mrs. Houck was choir member of United Methodist Women, the Autumn Club of Hightstown, the Grange, and Scarborough Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, embroidering and crocheting and her pet cats.
   Predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Harry Houck, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura H. Houck-Welzer and Steven W. Welzer; and two granddaughters, Nicole H. and Brielle H. Welzer.
   Funeral services were held on Thursday from the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, with Neill Tolboom, Pastor of United Methodist Church, officiating. Entombment followed in Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum, Robbinsville.
