   MERCERVILLE — Idolo J. (Joe) Trotti, 83, died Feb. 22 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
   He was retired from National Ceramics and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Mercerville and its senior citizens club.
   He was a member of the Societa Romana of Trenton.
   He enjoyed fishing, soap operas and his plants.
   Son of the late Telesforo and Domenica Bonifacio Trotti and brother of the late Jennie Demeter, he is survived by his wife of 47, years Edith E. Giovagnoli Trotti of Mercerville; a daughter and son-in-law, Roseann T. and George Gunzelman of Tabernacle; a nephew and his wife Raymond and Virginia Demeter of Crosswicks; three grandchildren, Jessica D., Amanda C. and Alexis N. Gunzelman; and other relatives.
   Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 27 at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3816 E. State St. Ext., Mercerville.
   Entombment will be in The Chapel of the Redeemer, St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton.
   Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 at Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 S. Broad St., Trenton.
   The family requests no flowers. Contributions may be made to a donor’s choice.
Eleanor M. Kane

   WILLINGBORO – Eleanor M. Kane, 77, of Willingboro, died Feb. 22 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly.
   Born and raised in Philadelphia, she lived there until she moved to Willingboro 44 years ago.
   Mrs. Kane was a homemaker but had worked as a dental assistant in her younger years.
   She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Willingboro and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years and was also involved with many other activities of the church over the years.
   Mrs. Kane formerly taught ceramic classes in her home and was a former member of the Willingboro American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
   Wife of the late Edward B. Kane Jr., she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Michele and William Hamilton of Florence; five sons and three daughters-in-law: Edward B. III, and Sylvia Kane of Levittown, Pa., Charles Kane of Edgewater Park, Douglas and Donna Kane of Edgewater Park, David and Debra Kane of Roebling and Dean Kane of Willingboro; two brothers, Charles A. Slemmer Jr. and Elliston (Bud) Kane, both of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at The Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front Street, Florence.
   Officiating will be Rev. Gregory Young, pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
   Interment will be in Beverly National Cemetery.

Elizabeth Guthrie

   LAWRENCEVILLE — Elizabeth Guthrie, 96, died Feb. 23 at Tandem Health Care at Lawrenceville.
   Born in Trenton, Mrs. Guthrie resided in the Trenton/Hamilton area almost all of her life.
   She was a retired supervisor for the American Tobacco Company with 45 years of service.
   Mrs. Guthrie was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Hamilton and also was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital.
   Daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Johnson, wife of the late Joseph Guthrie and sister of the late Harry Johnson, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Florence Caprario Johnson and Harry J. Johnson Sr. of Ewing; a great-nephew and his wife, Harry J. Jr. and Kathie Johnson of Ewing; a great-niece and her husband, Kathleen and Scott Allen of Roebling; and four great-great nieces and nephews.
   Private services and burial were held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Saul Memorial Home, Hamilton.
   Contributions may be made in Mrs. Guthrie’s memory to the Bethel Lutheran Church, 150 Johnston Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08609.
Matthew S. Wieczkowski

   TRENTON — Matthew S. Wieczkowski, 72, died Feb. 22 at the Compassionate Care Hospice.
   Born in Trenton Mr. Wieczkowski was a lifelong Trenton City resident.
   He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War serving with the Heavy Motor Company of the 114th Infantry.
   He retired in 1995 after 20 years service with the former General Motors, Inland Fisher Guide Plan of Ewing.
   He was previously employed with Atlantic Products.
   He was a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s, Holy Cross Post #477 and the Trenton BPOE Elks Lodge #105.
   Son of the late Stephen and Josephine Zygnerski Wieczkowski and brother of the late Ziggy and Edward Wieczkowski and Stella Skrzydlinski, he is survived by his wife, Lorraine Britton Wieczkowski of Trenton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Pat and Walter Lojeski of Langhorne, Pa., Sandy Calisti of Trenton and Lisa and Gene Langton of Bordentown Township; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Matthew J. Wieczkowski of Princeton Borough and Michael and Anne Wieczkowski of Hamilton Township; six grandchildren, Robin Calisti, Lynne Lojeski, Nicole Langton, Corey Langton and twins Chloe and Sydney Wieczkowski; three sisters, Jenny Iwan of Harrisburg, Pa., Charlotte Recine of Voorhees and Regina Mastalesz of Hamilton Township; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from the Winowicz Funeral Home.
   Funeral Liturgy was celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church.
   Burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hamilton Township.

Charles Thomas

Allen Sr.

   HAMILTON — Charles Thomas Allen, Sr., 67, died Feb. 21 at home.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Allen resided in the Hamilton area for his entire life.
   He was the owner of Allen’s Auto Body in Hamilton for over 40 years.
   Mr. Allen was a Veteran of the National Guard. He was a member of the Trenton Elk’s Lodge #105 for 27 years and a member of the F.O.P. of Hamilton Lodge #20.
   He also enjoyed boating.
   Grandson of the late Albert and Abbie Adams and son of the late Charles and Abbie (Adams) Allen, he is survived by his former wife, Doretta Allen; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles Thomas Jr. and Kim Allen of Hamilton, Gary and Kay Allen of Chesterfield and Ronnie Allen of Hamilton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Terri Kramer-McKinney and Dan McKinney of Hamilton, Lisa and Ron Perry of Rancocas Woods and Patti and Tim Dey of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Horace and Joyce Allen of Hamilton; a cousin and his wife, George and Barbara Findler of Hamilton; nine grandchildren, Christine, Michelle and Lauren Kramer, Amanda and Jaclyn Perry and Melissa and Jennifer Dey, Charles Thomas Allen, III and Ashley Allen; several step-grandchildren; and three nephews.
   Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Feb. 27 at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square with Rev. Steven Barker, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, officiating.
   Entombment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton Township.

Mary Jane Russo

   MORRISVILLE, Pa. – Mary Jane Russo, 88, of Morrisville, Pa. died Feb. 28 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington, Pa.
   Born in Trenton, Mrs. Russo was a longtime resident of the Broad Street Park section before moving to Morrisville.
   She also lived in Tucson, Ariz. for six years before returning to Morrisville.
   She was a journalist and freelance writer for various local newspapers. While in Arizona, she did much journalism for The Tombstone Epitaph in Tombstone, Ariz.
   During WWII, she was president of the Basil Rathbone and Lorraine Kruger fan clubs.
   Daughter of the late William and Mary Layden Hammell, and sister of the late Laura Erdelsky and the late William, Charles and Thomas Hammel and wife of the late Joseph W. Russo Sr., she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Angeline and Joseph W. Russo Jr., of Florence; a daughter, Virginia Russo of Morrisville; a granddaughter, Linda Russo of Lumberton; a great-granddaughter, Taryn Paglione of Florence; three sisters, Elizabeth Rose of Spring Hill, Fla., Joyce Cadenhead of Milton, Fla. and Margaret Cook of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
   Funeral services were held at the Dennison Funeral Home, Florence. The Rev. Felix F. Venza officiated.
   Interment was in the Colonial Memorial Park.

Millie M. Monte

   SHARON HILL, Pa. — Millie M. Monte, nee Hrelja, died Feb. 18.
   Wife of the late Felix L. Monte and sister of the late Anna Sillich, Julia Milohnick, Cam Fronolich and Joseph Hrelja, she is survived by her daughter, Claudia Monte and grandson, Kevin Lawton, both of Chesterfield; sisters Mary Hanlon and Catherine Pashantis, both of Philadelphia; and nieces and nephews.
   A Funeral Mass was held at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Sharon Hill.
   Burial was in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Margaret Czako Katona

   TUCKERTON — Margaret Czako Katona 81, of Trenton and Tuckerton, died Feb. 17 in the Seacrest Village Nursing Home, Tuckerton.
   Born in Makefield, Pa., Mrs. Katona retired from the Hibbert Printing Company after several years of service.
   She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church.
   Daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Kardos Czako, wife of the late Garson Katona, mother of the late Margaret (Dolly) Schrier, she is survived by brothers and their spouses, Joseph and Loretta Czako of Bordentown Township and Edwin and Kathy Weeks of Florence; a sister, Goldy Geoghan of Lakeside Park; a brother-in-law and his wife, Walter and Betty Katona of Crosswicks; a step-daughter, Evelyn Collins of Mount Holly; a stepson, Gary Katona of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, Yardville.
   Burial followed in Colonial Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamilton.

Bruno E. Spych Jr.

   HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Bruno E. Spych Jr., 82, died Feb. 15 at home.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Spych was a lifelong Trenton and Yardville resident.
   He was a United States Army veteran who served as platoon sergeant with the 349th Infantry Regiment in the campaigns of Po Valley and North Appenines.
   He retired after 45 years of service with the DeLaval Turbine Company of Hamilton Township.
   He was a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s Holy Cross Post 417; the St. Vincent dePaul Holy Name Society and was a church usher at the Sunday 11:30 a.m. Mass.
   He was a member of AARP.
   Son of the late Bronislawe Sr. and Rosalia Spych, brother of the late Chester and Joseph and twin brother William Spych, he is survived by wife, Kathryn Smith Spych of Yardville, his son, David Spych of Atlanta, Ga.; his sister, Helen Gertsnacker of Yardville; his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Phyllis Spych of Ewing Township; three sisters-in-law, Sally Spych of Florence, Bernice Spych of Edison and Mary Spych of Hamilton Township; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from the Winowicz Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy was celebrated in St. Vincent dePaul church with Fr. Stanley Krzyston officiating.
   Burial was in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Crosswicks.
