Sunday’s services at Fellowship Bible Church on New Amwell Road will be lead by Terry LaTourneau of Sterling, Mass., a candidate to become the church’s first, full-time pastor.
Pastor LaTourneau was invited by the church’s Pulpit Search Committee, which has been commissioned with finding a full-time pastor for the church. The committee has worked at this task for four years. Currently, church services are led by Robert Damrau.
Pastor LaTourneau is currently affiliated with Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, Mass.
He began his visit with a Bible Study and Prayer Time Wednesday evening, and will join parishioners for a pizza reception and Youth Service tonight (Thursday) at 6:30 p.m.
A question and answer session with Pastor LeTourneau has been scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, immediately followed by a Dessert Fellowship. Saturday, Pastor LaTourneau will attend a Men’s Breakfast and Devotional at 8 a.m. A Ladies’ Light Brunch with his wife, Christine, is scheduled for 11 a.m.
And at 6 p.m., a Covered Dish Supper and Church Fellowship will offer another opportunity for church members to meet the prospective pastor.
Pastor LeTourneau will then lead the Adult Sunday School session at 9:45 a.m., and the Sunday Morning Worship sermon at the 11 a.m. service.
A luncheon will follow this service. The 8:30 a.m. Sunday Worship Service is suspended on March 2.
Fellowship Bible Church welcomes anyone who is interested in any of these scheduled events. For more information about the church, please call 359-4602.
