Decision delayed on Nassau Park expansion

WEST WINDSOR — The township Planning Board has put off making a decision on the third and final phase of development in the Nassau Park shopping center off Route 1 until May 13.
"There are so many issues we are wide apart on, including problems with traffic and crime, I didn’t think rescheduling a meeting any sooner would make sense," said Marvin Gardner, Planning Board chair.
The third phase includes two separate buildings — a 37,200-square-foot Babies R Us and a 40,800-square-foot miscellaneous retail store — with more than 400 parking spaces on a 20-acre site that includes land where the Richard’s Farm Market currently is located.
