OBITUARIES

JOHN F. "JACK" CONOVER, 61, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge and Sayreville, died March 1 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Carmen L. Conover, died in 1991. Surviving are a son, Christopher Conover of Ambridge, Pa., and a daughter, Dawn Brunotte of Brick. Services were under the direction of Eckman Funeral Home, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. EVELYN GALBREATH, 75, of Howell died March 2 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Easton, Pa., she resided in Freehold Township for 40 years before moving to Howell Township 10 years ago. She worked as an electronics assembler for Celwave in Marlboro for 20 years before retiring six years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Freehold and active in many of its organizations. She was also a volunteer and treasurer of Freehold Open Door. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley E. Galbreath, in 1992. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. and Diane of Brick, and Larry R. and Linda of Freehold; two brothers, Charles Rodgers and Robert Rodgers, both of Easton; a sister, Shirley Case, of Washington; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Freeman Funeral Home in Freehold was in charge of arrangements. Services were held at First Presbyterian Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan. AMELIA SANCLIMENTI, 80, of Howell died March 8 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She was born in New York City and lived there before moving to Howell Township. Mrs. Sanclimenti was a seamstress for various retail stores in Queens, N.Y. for many years before retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Farmingdale. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaspar, in 1962 and a sister, Angelina A. Caiafa, in 2002. Surviving are two sons, Michael Sanclimenti of Howell and Robert Sanclimenti of Brick; two sisters, Rae Todesco of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Italia Yarmosh of Swiftwater, Pa.; and one brother, Caesar Caiafa of Memora. Visiting was held at C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia. A funeral Mass was held at St. Catherine of Siena Chapel, Farmingdale. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing, N.Y.
