ARTHUR H. MORRIS, 76, of the Clarksburg section of Millstone died Feb. 24 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in New York City and lived in Northwood, Middlesex, England before moving to Millstone in 1976. He was a driver and trainer of standardbred horses at Freehold Raceway, the Meadowlands, and other area tracks for the last 27 years. Prior to that, he was a systems analyst in Germany, Denmark, Norway and Great Britain. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a B-29 bombardier. Surviving are his wife, Barbara C. Vozeh Morris; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Arthur Jason and Christine Morris, Forked River, and Geoffrey Scott Morris, Clarksburg; and a grandson. MARY R. VRABEL, 80, of Millstone died March 8 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township. She was born in Metuchen and lived in South Plainfield before moving to Millstone in 1968. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Millstone, and a member of the Millstone Township Woman’s Club and the CentraState Medical Center Auxiliary of Millstone. She was predeceased by her husband, George Vrabel, in 1991. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, John G. and Elaine Vrabel and George J. and Mary Vrabel, all of Millstone; a brother, Frank Mangione, Fla.; and four grandsons. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Millstone, followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
