Elaine J. Halberstadt of Princeton died Monday at home. She was 75.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a Levittown, Pa., resident before moving to Princeton 17 years ago.
She was the office manager at Halberstadt Financial Consultants Inc. for many years.
She was a member of Congregation Beth Chaim, the Princeton chapter of Jewish Women International, Princeton Hadassah and Community Without Walls.
Daughter of the late William and Sadie Greenberg, mother of the late Michael Halberstadt, she is survived by her husband, Jack; son and daughter-in-law Dr. Gary and Sara Halberstadt of Indianapolis; daughter and son-in-law Lisa Halberstadt and Jeffrey Lacker of Richmond, Va.; sister Leona Crane of Boca Raton, Fla.; and grandchildren Cameron, Max and Elizabeth Halberstadt and Benjamin and Daniel Lacker.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Congregation Beth Chaim, 329 Village Road East, West Windsor.
Burial will be at King David Memorial Park, Bensalem, Pa.
The period of mourning will be observed at the Halberstadt residence, Princeton.

William Haupt
Carpenter at university
William Haupt of Princeton died March 23 in New Milford, Conn. He was 83.
Born in Princeton, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a carpenter at Princeton University for 24 years, retiring in 1982.
He was a 1934 graduate of St. Paul’s School in Princeton and a 1938 graduate of Princeton High School.
He served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II. During his time in the service, he attended the Boeing School of Aeronautics.
He was a member and past commander of the American Legion Princeton Post 76, a golden life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3525 in Hamilton and a member of the Princeton Elks Lodge 2129.
He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Princeton.
Son of the late Joseph and Kathryn Saal Haupt, husband of the late Rhoda Jollimore Haupt, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and John Bolster of New Milford, Conn.; and grandchildren Christopher William and Ian David Bolster.

Winifred B. Evans
Taught at The Lawrenceville School
Winifred Bentley Evans of Princeton died Sunday. She was 74.
Born in Pulaski, N.Y., she attended William Smith College in 1947 where she met her husband, whom she married three years later.
She later continued her education through the Mary I. Bunting Program, a continuing education program for mature women at Douglass College. In 1971, she received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and began her teaching career.
She taught mathematics from 1972 to 1981 at Saint Joseph’s Preparatory Academy in Plainsboro and The Lawrenceville School from 1981 until she retired from teaching in 1993.
She was active in All Saints’ Episcopal Church and enjoyed tennis, knitting, reading and spending time with her family.
According to her family, she felt strongly that people need to be tolerant and accepting towards their fellow persons and to treat one another with respect and dignity.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas L Evans; sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Kim Evans and Tom and Margaret Evans; daughters and sons-in-law Janine and Michael Bennick and Brenda and Andy Armstrong; sisters Janet Johnson, Jean Jones, and Dorothy Krespan; and grandchildren Morgan, Meredyth and Sam Evans, Ben and Tommy Evans, Jeremy, Danny and Nate Bennick and Sarah, Laura, Ali and Andy Armstrong.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 16 All Saints’ Road, Princeton.

Boy Scouts employee
Angus L. McBryde Jr. of Princeton Borough died suddenly March 23 at The Medical Center at Princeton. He was 63.
Born in Princeton, he was a lifelong Princeton resident.
He was a member of the national executive staff of the Boy Scouts of America. He was employed by Boy Scouts of America as manager of the BSA store in Long Island, N.Y.
A graduate of Princeton public schools, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Rider College in 1962. He was also a graduate of the National Training School of the Boy Scouts of America.
He was a member, secretary and past master of the Princeton Masonic Lodge No. 38, grand sword bearer of Grand Lodge of New Jersey, a member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine and a past member of Princeton Hook and Ladder Co.
Long active in the Scottish community, he was affiliated with the St. Andrews Society of the State of New York and the Trenton Scottish Masonic Club. He was a director of the Clan Donald Foundation and was a past high commissioner of Clan Donald USA. He was particularly proud of being knighted in the Royal Order of Scotland.
Son of the late Angus L. McBryde Sr. and Jemima "Mina" Beaton McBryde, he is survived by a sister, Linda Gallo of Princeton; niece Kimberly A. Robbins of Florence; nephew Michael B. Gallo of Princeton; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Masonic service will be held at 8:30 p.m. today at Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Princeton Cemetery.

Ryan E. Dickson
Teacher in Ecuador
RIO BAMBA, Ecuador Ryan E. Dickson died Wednesday while climbing Mt. Aconcagua near Mendoza, Argentina. He was 31.
A former Montgomery resident, he was an English teacher at San Felipe High School in Rio Bamba.
He was with a team of five Ecuadorians, all of whom had extensive mountain-climbing experience. He died of high-altitude pulmonary edema, a life-threatening emergency condition brought about by the effects of increase in altitude.
An avid mountaineer, he climbed Mt. Kenya as well as Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, this past summer. He climbed Cotopaxi, the highest peak in Ecuador, and traveled extensively throughout South America.
He initiated an outdoor education program at the high school as well as a mountaineering club. He recently coached his middle school basketball team to the local championship.
An environmental studies major at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., he participated in a sustainable development program in Costa Rica during his junior year.
Upon graduation he spent two years in the Peace Corps in Uruguay, working in ecotourism and community development. He continued with the Peace Corps for three years in Ecuador, working primarily in environmental education.
He then joined GAP Adventures as a tour guide for groups exploring the Inca trail and additional sights through Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru.
A graduate of Montgomery High School, he spent summers throughout high school and college at Silver Bay YMCA Conference Center at Lake George, N.Y., where he was a lifeguard and water safety instructor, community service coordinator and Adirondack High Peaks guide.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Diane Dickson of Montgomery; sister Shannon Hoover of Morristown; brother Kevin of Danbury, Conn.; and grandmother Bernice MacGregor of Canton, Ohio.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at Montgomery United Methodist Church.

SOLONA BEACH, Calif. Theresa Vogt died Thursday. She was 64.
Born in Howard Beach, N.Y., she was a resident of Princeton for 32 years before moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township.
She worked for many years in real estate at the Century 21 and Weidel offices in East Windsor and Pennington. She also worked for Hovnanian Corp. in Lawrence.
She attended Our Lady of Grace High School in Howard Beach, N.Y., and also attended Princeton University.
She was a member of the East Windsor Women’s Club and was a five-year member of the Million Dollar Sales Club in real estate.
Daughter of the late Timothy McGrath, she is survived by her mother, Delores McGrath of Connecticut; daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Stan Mavrogianis of Washington, D.C.; Alison Ranft-Bhatti and Sam Bhatti of Texas, and Lesley Ranft of California; brother Timothy McGrath of New York; sisters Eileen Smithe of New York and Delores Polanski of Florida; and grandchildren Lindsey Haakenson, Nadia Bhatti and Donyal Bhatti.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

Former Montgomery resident
HILLSBOROUGH Camille C. Galick died Monday at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. She was 82.
Born in Union City, she lived in Hopewell, the Harlingen area of Montgomery and Hillsborough before moving to Burlington in 2002.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough and its Adoration Society and a member of Hillsborough Senior Citizens Chapter A.
Wife of the late Frank Galick, who died in January, she is survived by son Edward M. Galick of Pennsburg, Pa.; daughters Sherry Ann Josue of Burlington, Joan E. Underwood of St. Peters, Mo., and Mary Galick of Hillsborough; brothers Joseph and Gus Castagnola, both of Hawthorne, Nev.; sister Ann Devlin of Glendale, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mary Mother of God Church, Hillsborough.
Burial will be private.
