Brick hosts ‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’
From Linus to Snoopy, favorite characters from the popular "Peanuts" comic strip will come to life this April on the stage of Brick Township Memorial High School in a musical staged by the Mustang Drama Club.
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown will be presented by students in an ensemble production choreographed by Donna Bataglia.
Because the actors portray young children in the show, special oversized sets were necessary, according to a press release from the high school. Under the direction of Derek Hulse, students fabricated giant objects such as a 7-foot mailbox, an enormous couch, and a larger-than-life doghouse, according to the press release.
Performances are scheduled for April 10, 11 and 12 at the high school auditorium, 2001 Lanes Mill Road. Tickets, which can be purchased at the door, will cost $7 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m.
