The Diamond Club is a newly established Booster Club for the Allentown High School baseball program. The club’s goal is to generate financial and moral support as well as provide general assistance to the boys’ baseball program.
According to a press release, all revenues generated by the club’s fund-raising efforts will be channeled directly back into the baseball program for items such as equipment, facility enhancements and upgrades, and other odds and ends as deemed necessary by the coaching staff, and which the school district cannot provide.
The inaugural fund-raiser will be "A Night of Comedy" on Saturday, April 5, at the Clarksburg Inn Pavilion, Route 524/Stagecoach Road, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
