The Central Jersey Jazz Association will present a lecture titled "The Legacy of the Trumpet in Jazz" from 7-8:45 p.m. on April 10 at the North Brunswick municipal complex, 710 Hermann Road.
Guest presenter will be Herb Gordon. The program will cover the evolution of the jazz trumpet from Louis Armstrong through Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis. Key tracks from albums by trumpet greats will be featured.
