Milltown Fire Dept. sets Garbarini golf event
The Milltown Fire Department will sponsor its first Charles Garbarini Golf Outing on May 5 at the Cranbury Golf Club, 49 Southfield Road, West Windsor.
The event will benefit the family of Lt. Charles Garbarini of the New York City Fire Department who lost his life in the 9/11 disaster. All proceeds will go directly to the family to offset its financial obligations.
A shotgun scramble will begin at 10 a.m. Cost is $125 per person and includes breakfast (coffee and doughnuts), lunch, a barbecue dinner and door prizes. There will be prizes for winning teams, longest drives and closest to the pin. Cost for dinner (including drinks) only is $35.
Registration deadline is April 15. Space is limited.
