O.B. Library to offer
genealogy program
The Old Bridge Public Library, in cooperation with the library Genealogy Club, will present a program titled "Researching Your Ancestors’ Locality" at 7 p.m. on April 9 at the library main branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
Guest presenter will be certified genealogist Michelle Chubenko. The focus will be on researching an ancestor beyond the basics (birth, marriage and death) using local history, land records, court records, maps, atlases and gazetteers, periodicals, newspapers and manuscript collections, etc.
