April 3 candidiates forum begins at 7:30 p.m. in the TV studio of Hopewell Valley Central High School, Pennington-Titusville Road.
Voters who are unable to attend the school board Candidates’ Forum tonight (Thursday) will be able to see it on local cable TV up until the election.
Tonight’s session begins at 7:30 p.m. in the TV studio of Hopewell Valley Central High School, Pennington-Titusville Road. The Hopewell Valley League of Women Voters is sponsor.
Three candidates from Hopewell Township and one from Pennington are running for three seats on the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education. There are no Hopewell Borough seats up for election this year.
Township residents vying for two seats are Mary Ellen Curtin, Lisa Marin Main, and Linda Mitchell. Kevin Doran is running unopposed for the Pennington seat.
Township and Pennington voters will cast ballots in the municipality in which they live. Every registered voter including those in Hopewell Borough will be able to cast a ballot on the proposed 2003-2004 school budget plan. The election is Tuesday, April 15. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
