OBITUARY: Dwight Marvin Hudgins

   Hightstown — Dwight Marvin Hudgins, 49, of Hightstown died Sunday, March 29, at Newark University Hospital.
   He was born in Bayside and raised in South Hampton, Long Island. He was a veteran in the United States Marine Corp. He graduated with a degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration from Ports Smith, Va. He then moved to New Jersey in 1986 where he became a member of St. Mary’s Baptist Church. He was employed at McGraw Hill for eight years and Grainger for six years.
   His parents, Carrie Lee and Vernon Hudgins, are deceased. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Barbara Hudgins and four daughters; Jeanette Hudgins, Jacqueline Hudgins, Joanna Hudgins of Hightstown and Janice Diaz of Bordentown, and one son-in-law, Jose Diaz of Bordentown. He has 6 sisters, 6 brothers, 10 sisters-in-law, 7 brothers-in-law, and hosts of nieces, nephews and friends.
   Funeral services were held Saturday, April 11, at St. Mary’s Baptist Church, Broadway Road, Cranbury with the Rev. Elizabeth Jordan doing the eulogy. Arrangements were under the direction of the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury.
