Vocational foundation

to honor Narozanick

Freeholder Theodore J. Narozanick will be honored at a dinner-dance to be given by the Monmouth Center for Vocational Rehabilitation Foundation on April 11 at the Molly Pitcher Inn, Red Bank.

The event will benefit the foundation, which has been formed to improve community awareness and enhance and manage capital improvements for the Monmouth Center for Vocational Rehabilitation, of Tinton Falls.

The center is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to promote social independence and maximum vocational potential for persons with disabilities through counseling, training and support.

The agency combines computer training, online resources and community-based job coaching to assist individuals with disabilities in developing skills and making connections to help locate competitive employment and achieve their personal goals in areas of health, employment and community living.

"I am truly honored by this award," Narozanick said. "The work of the center is well known to everyone involved in helping our fellow citizens improve their lot in life. I’m pleased to be a part of this very worthwhile project to raise funds for MCVR," he said.
