Lambertville Mayor David Del Vecchio will face no opposition in his bid for a fifth three-year term in the June 3 primary.
But neither will Christopher Gazzillo, a Republican, who is unopposed for his party’s nod.
Should nothing change, Mr. Gazzillo will oppose the Democratic mayor in the Nov. 4 election.
Delaware Township has a battle for the primary with three Republicans vying for the two three-year terms available on the Township Committee. Incumbents Susan Lockwood, serving as mayor this year, and Richard Madden, serving as deputy mayor this year, will square off against challenger David Bond.
John Miller, a Democrat, is unopposed for his party’s nomination in the primary.
There also is a battle in West Amwell between Peter Buchsbaum, a Democrat serving as mayor this year, and Ruth Hall, a Republican, township historian.
In Stockton, Jeff Kreider and Nicolo Messina are unopposed for the GOP nomination for the two three-year terms available. Incumbent Chris Smith did not file.
Incumbent Steve Giocondo, a Democrat, is unopposed for his party’s nod.
