O.B. to offer seminar on
home improvement code
Old Bridge residents who are considering a home improvement project or a fence or pool installation are invited to a free workshop on the construction permit and inspection process at 7:30 p.m. on April 10 at the George Bush Center for Human Services in the municipal complex, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
The event, which is sponsored by the Township of Old Bridge Division of Code Enforcement, will include a question-and-answer session.

Fibromyalgia/chronic
fatigue lecture planned
The Wellness Education Foundation, East Brunswick, will sponsor a free community lecture on fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome at 7:30 p.m. on April 10 the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
Matthew J. Speesler, M.D., will offer the latest information on drug-free options for fibromyalgia treatment. Topics also will include symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, difficulty concentrating, joint pain, depression, light sensitivity, balance problems, irritable bowel, heat/cold sensitivity and/or panic attacks.
Registration is suggested. Seating is limited to the first 50 callers.

Sisterhood to sponsor
trip to Lower East Side
The Sisterhood of Congregation Anshe Emeth, 88 Main St., South River, will sponsor an April 27 trip to the Lower East Side of Manhattan. A charter bus will depart at 9 a.m. from the synagogue. Return is set for 5 p.m.
Guided tours of the Eldridge Street Synagogue (1887 Eastern European) and the Kehila Kedosha Janina (1927 Greek Romaniote) have been arranged. Participants also will have time to browse the neighborhood.
