Make reservations for tables for this year’s dinner by April 15.
The fourth annual Hopewell Valley Foundation E-squared Awards Dinner is scheduled for May 9 at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club, 114 Pennington Hopewell Road, Hopewell Township.
Individual tickets are $75 and a table for 10 is $750. The cash bar opens at 6:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 7:30 p.m.
E-squared stands for Education and Enterprise, and the award is designed to honor one individual recipient and one corporate recipient who have made a difference in the lives of the children in our school district. The individual is chosen based on the time and talent he or she has given as a volunteer, and the corporation is chosen based on its contributions of financial, human, and other resources to our school children.
This year, the two recipients chosen for the awards are: Sally Turner (president of the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education and outgoing school board member) for the individual award and Yardville National Bank for the corporate award.
In addition, six district teachers who will receive the Governor’s Teacher Recognition Program Awards will be guests at the dinner, thanks to the sponsorship of Hopewell Valley Community Bank.
The teachers being recognized are: Marianne Calvo Stony Brook Elementary School; David Friedrich Bear Tavern School; Chrys-Ann Kirby Hopewell Elementary School; Karen Lucci Hopewell Valley Central High School; Carol Olson Toll Gate Grammar School; and Michael Riley Timberlane Middle School.
Make reservations for tables for this year’s dinner by April 15. All are welcome and any group can reserve a table.
