Veronica Pitts
   Veronica K. Williams Pitts, 58, died Feb. 4 at Port St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
   Born in Newark, Veronica grew up in the Washington, N.J. area, graduating from Hackettstown High School in 1962. She attended Lock Haven State College for a year and returned to New Jersey where she graduated from Trenton State College (currently The College of New Jersey) in 1966 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
   After she taught in the Hackettstown, Plainfield and Phillipsburg school districts, she retired in 1997.
   Veronica also maintained an active career in real estate for many years, licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
   Community service activities included membership with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Mansfield Fire Co. She also held a number of professional memberships in education, including the National Education Association and county-level educational associations.
   Prior to retirement to Port St. Lucie with her husband of 37 years, Charles Pitts, they resided in Easton, Pa. Veronica not only leaves her husband, but also their son George Pitts and two grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan Pitts of Tampa, Fla.
   Predeceased by her father, George C. Williams, and her brother Vernon Williams, she also is survived by her mother, Kathryn Williams of Lawrence; her brother Richard Williams of Salem; her sister Harriet W. Johnson of Lawrence; a nephew Isaac Johnson of Salisbury, Mary.; nieces Kathryn W. Sanchez of Escondido, Calif., and Monica W. Hix of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sisters-in-law Shirley Burroughs of Parsippany and Barbara White of Morristown; a nephew Norman Burroughs of Union; and many other relatives and friends.
   A Christian Memorial Service is planned for April 12 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church in Princeton with the Rev. Vernard Leak, pastor, officiating.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 1834, Merrifield, VA 22116-8034.

Julia Bielamowicz
   Julia M. Bielamowicz, 94, died, April 6, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Trenton resident and more recently in Lawrenceville. She retired in 1969 after 30 years service with the former General Motors, Inland Fisher Guide Plant in Ewing Township. She was a member of the United Auto Workers, local 731.
   Daughter of the late John and Mary Liss Bielamowicz; sister of the late Anna Bielamowicz, Helen Scheideler, Hattie Bielamowicz, Michael Bielamowicz, Frances Markulic, Joseph Bielamowicz and Katherine Guzikowski.
   Survived by her brother Martin Bielamowicz of Lawrence; her sister Margaret Preneta of Lawrence; her nephew Joseph L. and his wife Linda Scheideler of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
   The funeral will be held today (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline & Beatty Streets.
   Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Cross with Msgr. Edward J. Arnister officiating.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
   Calling hours will be today (Thursday) from 9-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Antoinette Goodwin
   Antoinette Leona Goodwin, 80 passed away April 5, at Tandem Health Care of Lawrenceville.
   Born in Trenton, Ms. Goodwin was a lifetime Trenton area resident. She was formerly employed with Dayton Electronics for over ten years. Ms. Goodwin was a member of VFW 3525 during the 1960s and she enjoyed crafting, sewing and needlepoint.
   Wife of the late John D. Goodwin, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John David and Donna Goodwin of Morrisville, Pa., and Edwin I. and Sigrid Goodwin of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Toni-Jo and Claude Mastrosimone of Lawrence; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
   A memorial service was held Tuesday evening at the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Ave., Trenton.
   Cremation and burial of cremated remains will be private.
   Contributions may be made in Ms. Goodwin’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Marie Russell
   Marie L. Russell, 80, formerly of Lawrenceville, died Dec. 6 at her daughter’s home in Scottsdale, Ariz.
   A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, she resided in Lawrenceville for 53 years prior to moving to Scottsdale. She was formerly employed by both Westinghouse and Heinneman Electric.
   She was a member of the Church of St. Ann, the Altar Rosary Society and the Mt. Carmel Guild. She also was a former member of the Lawrence Senior Citizens Club 2 where she enjoyed line dancing and had many wonderful friendships.
   Daughter of the late J. Joseph and Louise Schlottenmeier Manning, sister of the late Alice D. Manning and wife of the late John T. Russell, she is survived by a daughter, Joan L. Russell of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Barbara L. Russell of Hopewell; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph J. And Phyllis Manning of Hernando Beach, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Lorraine R. Whitehead of Lawrenceville; three grandchildren, James M. Duffy, III, J. Michael Russell and Lauren L. Russell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Josephine Pardi
   Josephine Pardi, 92, of Trenton died April 2 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill.
   Born in Villaba Sicily, Ms. Pardi resided in the Trenton area most of her life. She was a member of St. James Church, its Senior Citizen’s Club, San Cologero Society, Saint Joseph Society, Lipinski Senior Citizen’s Center and Senior Citizen’s Club Post 458.
   Daughter of the late Guiseppi and Paola Wagenti Immordino, wife of the late Salvatore Pardi, sister of the late Blacey Immordino, Jennie DePula, grandmother of the late Joseph Pardi, she is survived by one son, Biagio Pardi of Jacobstown; daughter-in-law Sally Harrison of Robbinsville; one sister, Marge Pieczynski of St. Augustine, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jennie Immordino of Lawrenceville; two grandchildren, Salvatore Pardi of Jacobstown and Genevive Abazoy of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one great grandchild, Sam Abazoy of Scottsdale, Ariz.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   The funeral was held April 5 from the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing.
   Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. James R.C. Church, Trenton.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Marie Riccitelli
   Marie (Eleanor) Harvey Riccitelli, 79, of Ewing, died April 1 in Capital Health Systems at Mercer.
   Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was retired from the state Division of Taxation in Trenton.
   Daughter of the late William J. and Ellen Maloney Harvey, wife of the late Albert Riccitelli, Sr., sister of the late Mabel Horner, Anna Munder, Elizabeth Peterson, Alice Michshutz, James, Joseph, Clifford and William Harvey, she is survived by a son, Albert Riccitelli, Jr., and daughter, Faith Stevens, both of Ewing; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Harris of Hamilton; a sister, Jean Dyer of Lawrence; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Eugene Jantos
   Eugene S. Jantos, Sr., 88, of Lawrence Township died Monday at the Pavilion at Forrestal, Plainsboro Township.
   Born in Trenton he was a lifelong Trenton and Lawrenceville resident.
   He retired in 1981 after 42 years service with the former General Motors, Inland Fisher Guide plant of Ewing Township. He was a member of the United Auto Workers and Local 731 Retirees.
   Son of the late Anthony and Mary Jerback Jantos, brother of the late Joseph Jantos, Lucy Musa and Connie Machin, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances Sachs Jantos of Lawrence and his son Eugene Jantos, Jr. of Stockton; two grandchildren, Matthew Jantos of Stockton; Erica Jantos of Seattle; two nephews and four nieces.
   The funeral will be held Friday at 8:15 a.m. from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Avenue.
   Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton.
   Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
   Calling hours will be today (Thursday) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
