Peace group plans Saturday blood drive

As the casualties on both sides of the war in Iraq mount, the Princeton Peace Network will sponsor a blood drive in Princeton Borough on Saturday in cooperation with the International Red Cross.
Donations collected will supply blood to Iraqi civilians and coalition forces.
"This drive represents PPN’s desire to help alleviate the suffering caused by this war, even as we continue to oppose the war," according to a statement.
The blood drive will take place near Palmer Square from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Individuals who would like to donate blood should e-mail [email protected] to sign up or to request additional details.
