Fair Haven residents named partners in law firm

The Newark law firm of McCarter & English LLP has announced the admission of Fair Haven residents J. Wylie Donald and Brian J. Leddin to its partnership.

Donald is a member of the environmental, products liability, and insurance coverage groups. His practice includes Price-Anderson Act matters, regulatory issues before the Consumer Products Safety Commission, and product recall insurance. He is admitted to the bar associations of various jurisdictions, including New York, New Jersey and Florida, and has appeared in federal courts in Georgia and Texas.

Prior to his law career, Donald served as a division officer and department head onboard the nuclear submarine USS Augusta. He received his law degree at Columbia University Law School, New York, and his bachelor of arts degree at Rice University, Houston.

Leddin is a member of the products liability practice group, and represents pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, as well as defendants in toxic tort and premises liability matters. He is admitted to the bar associations of New York and New Jersey. Leddin is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, where he has coached the Interscholastic Moot Court teams in national competitions since 1995.

He received his law degree summa cum laude from Seton Hall University Law School, his master’s of business administration at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, and his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering, Wisconsin.
