Expert on Middle East to talk on cause of war

   The Princeton Middle East Society and the International Center of Princeton University will sponsor a talk by L. Carl Brown titled "How Did This Happen? The U.S. and Iraq" at 4 p.m. Sunday in Room 302 of the Frist Campus Center.
   Dr. Brown is the Garrett professor of foreign affairs emeritus at Princeton. He was a member of the Princeton faculty from 1966 to 1993 and has been director of the university’s interdisciplinary program in Near Eastern Studies.
   Dr. Brown’s most recent book is "Religion and State: The Muslim Approach to Politics," published in 2000. He was also the editor of "Diplomacy in the Middle East," published in 2001.
