A two-car accident closed Route 206 between Mountain Avenue and Valley Road for about an hour Tuesday as emergency officials worked to extract both drivers from their vehicles and clear the roadway.
Police said Rebecca L. Mollis, 49, of Robbinsville was traveling southbound on Route 206 when she swerved into the oncoming lane and sideswiped a Volvo driven by Geddes W. Hanson, 68, of Princeton.
The Princeton Fire Department and the First Aid Squad responded along with police. Both drivers had to be extracted from their vehicles.
Both drivers were taken to The Medical Center at Princeton, where they were treated and released, police said. Ms. Mollis reportedly suffered facial injuries. Mr. Hanson reportedly suffered injury to his back and neck.
Ms. Mollis was charged with failure to keep right and failure to wear a seatbelt, police said.
