A Bryn Mawr, Pa., woman was released without bail after being charged with drunken driving April 21.
Marsha Renee Brown, 55, of Morris Ave., turned from Bridge Street onto South Main Street at 11:15 p.m., driving south in the northbound lane from the intersection of Bridge and Main to Ferry Street, police said.
Ms. Brown continued driving south on Route 29, again crossing lanes, police said. She stopped in the parking lot of the Lambertville flea market, police said.
She also was charged with failure to maintain lanes, careless driving and refusal to take a breathalyzer test.
A Ewing Township couple had an unpleasant surprise waiting for them after they finished dinner at the Boat House Restaurant on Coryell Street Friday.
David E. Hunt, 31, and his wife, Vicky A. Barbella, of 15 Delaware Ave. parked their vehicle along the canal in Finkle’s Hardware lot about 6 p.m. when they arrived for dinner. Mr. Hunt took the keys with him when they went into the restaurant.
When the couple returned from dinner at 8:45 p.m., they found their van had been stolen. Police are investigating.
April 22 at 5:48 p.m., Adam B. Decker, 23, with no known address, was charged with two counts of defiant trespassing and harassment by communication and stalking.
Police said he had been warned to stay away from a subject on Phillips Mill Road and a second resident on Route 263, both in Solebury.
April 22 at 5:35 p.m., police began an investigation into the sudden death of a 43-year-old Comfort Road resident who was found at his residence.
Over the weekend, the victim had complained to friends about feeling ill. He was found Tuesday when friends went to check on him. There are no signs of foul play.
Police are being assisted by Keith Preston of the Bucks County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death. The victim’s name is not being released until family members can be contacted.
Police are investigating damage April 24 to freshly poured concrete sidewalks along Kitchen Lane in a new housing development.
The damage is reportedly several hundred dollars to the sidewalk and will require replacement.
April 24 at 6:50 p.m., a 44-year-old Philadelphia resident who was visiting the area reported while he was out of his room in a local motel, a 14-carat gold ring valued at $1,800 was taken from his room.
The investigation is continuing.
