To the editor:
I think it’s great that Assemblywoman Greenstein and Assemblyman Guear found funds for a television set for the Senior Center. Obviously they do, too, or there wouldn’t be a plaque on the television saying so.
But how did former Assemblyman Cimino get in on the act? Did he donate to the purchase personally, or was it just an opportunity to put his name in the paper, given that he’s running for office this November?
Yes, the TV is great. If only our Assembly representatives could also get us the funds for the Route 522 sound walls that our Democrat-controlled Freeholder board reneged on. If only they would speak out against what damage Democrat governor Jim McGreevey is doing to towns like South Brunswick.
But you can’t put a plaque on stuff like that.
