A Dayton man was charged with burglary and theft April 23 after police said they caught him selling items stolen from a Dayton home last week.
Timothy Jusino, 18, of Quincy Circle, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. April 23 in connection with an incident where CDs, cash, jewelry and video games with a total value of $3,000 were stolen from a house on Marc Drive, Dayton, on April 16, police said.
Police said Mr. Jusino entered the house by breaking a rear basement window.
Detective Jim Stoddard said police found a note alluding to a debt owed to Mr. Jusino at the scene, which led them to suspect him.
Detective Stoddard said police, acting on a court order, taped Mr. Jusino’s phone conversations. Undercover officers caught Mr. Jusino attempting to sell some of the items Wednesday, police said.
Mr. Jusino was released from the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center April 24 after posting $5,018 bail.
