U.S. Constitution allows citizens the freedom to criticize

In response to Ervine M. Rips’ letter to the editor in the April 17 Sentinel, his opinion of the war in Iraq differs from mine, which according to our Constitution, is allowed. It is still not too late if he wants to impeach our president and burn his image in effigy.

Isn’t this a great country where one is allowed to express his or her opinion without fear or retaliation, no matter how severe the criticism.

Tie your yellow ribbons and fly the national colors. May God bless America.
