HAMILTON Idella May Mullins died April 28 at her residence.
Born in Hightstown, Mrs. Mullins resided in Hamilton Township for 41 years.
Mrs. Mullins worked at A.M. Karagheusian Rug Co. in Freehold, Native Lace Co. in Hightstown, Davidson’s Market in Hightstown, and Hightstown Rug Co. during the war before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse and working at Mercer Care Center. She also ran the Children’s Theater at Model’s Shopping Center.
Wife of the late William Mullins, mother of the late CoraLee Merrill and sister of the late Hazel Schermer, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William E. Mullins and Linda of Hamilton Township; her sister, Sylvia Wright of Florida; a brother, Edward Pullen of Florida; a sister-in-law, Constance Simon of Whiting; grandchildren, Jennifer Hartz, William Mullins, Stephen Merrill, Lori Hillman and Russell Merrill; great grandchildren, Matthew Merrill and Zachary Hillman, Grace, Alex, CoraLee and Cody Merrill; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Martin W. Schmidt
ALLENTOWN Martin W. Schmidt, 89, died Monday at Compassionate Care Hospice in St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Allentown for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Upper Freehold Baptist Church, the Southbranch Hunting Club, the Long Beach Island Fishing Club and Coast Guard Floatilla 66 in Hamilton Township. He was an active member of the Allentown Lions Club for 45 years and was a World War II Navy veteran.
Husband of the late Mildred Schmidt, he is survived by; his daughter, Suzanne V. Valpreda of Allentown; his granddaughter and her husband, Suzanne and Holger Veith of Geneva, Switzerland; two great granddaughters, Lili and Annabelle Veith; and a special friend, Edie Sawtelle of East Windsor.
Funeral service will be held today, Friday, 10 a.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. The Rev. F. Staton Bentley, Jr. will officiate.
Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.

Carmen Rios
HIGHTSTOWN Carmen Rios, 90, died on Monday at the Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was a resident of New Jersey for 16 years.
Mother of the late Benito and Maria Hernandez and wife of the late Bartolo Hernandez, she is survived by a daughter, Elba Hernandez of Hightstown; two sons, David Hernandez of Hightstown and Jose Rios of Mountaintop, Pa.; a brother, Pedro Rios of Puerto Rico; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other family members in Puerto Rico.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Friday, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown.
Interment will be in Puerto Rico.
Edmond J. Green
HIGHTSTOWN Edmond J. Green, 93, died on Monday at The Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Rocky Hill, he was a Hightstown resident since 1947.
Mr. Green was an independent truck driver for more than 50 years.
He was a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church since 1947. Mr. Green was a World War II Veteran in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rachel M. Green; a sister, Marjorie Poertner of San Diego, Calif.; a niece, Kathleen Hoffmann of Dumont; and a great niece and great nephew.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown.
Interment followed in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Princeton.

Madeline Mark Wogan
HOLLAND, Pa. Madeline Mark Wogan, 97, formerly of Hightstown, Edison and currently of Holland, Pa., died April 25 at Frankford Hospital, Falls Township, Pa.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on Dec. 7, 1905, she was the first of seven children of William J. Mark and Margaret Myrtle Maude Hugill.
Mrs. Wogan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown. She was a former member of the Hightstown/East Windsor Senior Citizens Club and a leader in both boy and girl scouts. She enjoyed her family, sewing, crocheting, latchhook, birdwatching, tropical fish, and house plants.
Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Michael Wogan, her son, Thomas J. Wogan and her grandson, Thomas Wogan, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, M. Joanne and C. Richard Hartung of East Windsor and Nancy J. and Scott Dreicer of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Rose Wogan of Brick; a brother, Clifford Mark of Windsor, Ontario; grandchildren Joseph and Richard Wogan, Bridgette Woods, William, Raymond Hartung, Jeanne Rose, Jessie and Jarret Dreicer; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, at 11 a.m. at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown. The Rev. Suzanne Shafer-Coates, minister to Meadow Lakes and First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, will officiate.
Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
William Kramberg
MONROE William Kramberg, 81, died Monday at Greenwood House, Ewing.
Born in Poland, he lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Monroe Township six years ago. Prior to retiring in 1994, he owned a grocery store in Brooklyn for 49 years.
Surviving are: his wife, Helen Ojzerowicz Kramberg; a son, Bernard Kramberg and his wife Sharon of Avon, Conn.; a daughter, Gail Klein and her husband Rich of East Windsor; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at noon at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin.
August Wiener
EWING August Wiener, 87, a resident of the Greenwood House, Ewing, died April 23 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in New York City, he was a former resident of Harlem, Newark and Union, and lived in the Trenton area for the past 25 years. He was retired as sales manager of Koppers Company.
Mr. Wiener was a member of B’nai Brith and Bath Shalom Congregation where he served as mens club president and chairman of the religious school.
Husband of the late Jeanette, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Andrew Epstein of East Windsor; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Melinda Wiener of Long Meadow, Mass.; a sister, Malkie Shusterowitz; four grandchildren, Dana Lanciloti, Daniel Epstein, Elise Joy and Andrew Jordan; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services and burial took place on Sunday at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. The period of mourning will be observed at the Epstein residence.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House or the Jewish National Fund. Funeral arrangements are by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Rd., Ewing Township.
