LAW
   Szaferman Lakind, a full service law firm based in Lawrenceville, have announced that Kelly O’Neill-Coté has joined the firm as an associate and will practice with partners Sid Lehmann and David Beckett in the firm’s expanding labor and employment law department. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Neill-Coté was an associate in the Princeton firm of Hill Wallack. Her diverse litigation experience has included areas such as employment discrimination and claims against public entities.

   Hill Wallack Attorneys at Law, located in the Route 1 corridor, Princeton, have announced the following new partners: Paul N. Watter, partner-in-charge, public finance practice group; Nielsen V. Lewis, partner, environmental practice group; Michelle M. Monte, partner, creditor’s rights/bankruptcy practice group and Michael T. Sweeney, counsel to the firm, trial and insurance practice group. Additionally, Anthony Gaeta, Jessica S. Pyatt and Mark A. Roney have become associates of the firm.
ARCHITECTURE
   Michael J. Konsko, a principal and director of architecture in CUH2A’s Princeton office and principal in charge of the London office, has been unanimously chosen as chairman of the board. He has been with the firm for 24 years. Additionally, Joseph W. Zawistowski, also a principal with the Princeton office, has been elected to serve as director-at-large for a term of three years.

   The Thomas Group, a large full service architectural and engineering firm located in Forrestal Village, have announced the appointment of Thomas S. Townes to senior principal of the firm. In addition to his architectural responsibilities, he is a member of the firm’s board of directors and also serves as regional office manager for the Princeton and Philadelphia offices. A member of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Townes and his wife Myra Anne reside in Pennington.
CONSULTING
   
   The Learning Key Inc., located in Washington Crossing, Pa., recently announced the following appointments: Steve P. DeMorro, chief operating officer; Carolyn M. Hoke, vice president of training and Michael J. Mead, vice president of human resources and organizational development. The Learning Key Inc. provides consulting, coaching, training design and delivery, and innovative learning products for pharmaceutical and technology-based national and international companies.
MARKETING
   The Cable Television Public Affairs Association presented two Beacon Awards to Princeton Partners recently for work created and implemented for the New Jersey Cable Telecommunications Association. The agency won for the "Cable’s On It" integrated campaign that educated legislators and opinion leaders on the cable industry’s contribution to New Jersey.
INSURANCE
   William Rue Jr. has joined Rue Insurance in Hamilton as assistant vice president and manager of the employee benefits division. He is the fourth generation to become part of the firm, which was founded by his great grandfather in the back room of Windsor’s Golden Rule Feed Mill more than 85 years ago.
   Before joining the firm, Mr. Rue was an analyst in the investment banking group of Merrill Lynch.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
   James Hyman, president, chief executive officer and director of Hopewell Valley Community Bank, has been elected vice chairman of the New Jersey Bankers Association. NJBA is a trade association representing more than 80 New Jersey banks. Mr. Hyman also serves as chairman of the board of directors of the association’s subsidiary, the NJBA Service Corporation; a board member of the Greater Mercer County Chamber of Commerce and a trustee of Hunterdon Health Care System and Clinton United Methodist Church.
   Mr. Hyman is founding president and chief executive officer of Hopewell Valley Community Bank.

   Sun National Bank announced Richard Embley was appointed vice president and construction loan officer for Sun’s commercial banking division. In his new position he is responsible for developing lending relationships, assisting in the credit approval process for construction loans and managing Suns’ construction loan portfolio in his area.
   Mr. Embley lives in Princeton and is currently a member of the Central Jersey Builders Association, Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America and the Springdale Golf Club.

   David Hunter has been appointed vice president of information systems at Cenlar FSB where he will be the company’s lead technologist. He is responsible for ensuring that the bank’s technological information and applications are at the forefront of the industry. Employed in various positions in Cenlar’s MIS department over the past 10 years, he has been in the banking industry for 27 years.
   Located in Ewing, Cenlar FSB is a wholesale bank specializing in mortgage subservicing. Cenlar delivers private label service to its client base, which includes thrifts, credit unions and mortgage bankers, in all 50 states.

   Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, have announced the following promotions:
   Andrea Dedrick to manager in the accounting and auditing department. Ms. Dedrick has more than 12 years of public accounting experience working with clients in the technology, government and manufacturing industries. Ms. Dedrick is a resident of Skillman and is a committee member of the Princeton Chamber of Commerce.
   Allyson Milbrod to manager in the firm’s tax department. Ms. Milbrod has over eight years of public accounting experience, her areas of responsibility include tax returns, multi-state taxation issues, mergers and acquisitions and representation at tax audits. She is a resident of Dayton.
