Coalition for Peace Action plans Day of Unity

The Coalition for Peace Action will sponsor a day of creativity and presentations from the cultures of South Asia at the Princeton YWCA athletic fields on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
The day is designed to highlight positivé and creative alternatives through cultural understanding and peace. The Rev. Robert Moore, executive director of the Coalition for Peace Action, and Dr. Robert Nelson, senior fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations and researcher at Princeton University, will give statements on the end of nuclear proliferation.
Planned activities include dance performances from South Asia, Japan and the United States, poetry, music, face painting, juggling lessons, and South Asian food tasting. Participants will be invited to create fabric panels. At a closing ceremony, the panels will be joined together in a Ribbon of Peace, together with panels brought by Ribbon International, an ongoing peace project sponsored by CFPA.
