HILLSBOROUGH Margaretta V. Buss died Tuesday, April 29, in the New Jersey Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. She was 92.
She was born in Camden and grew up living in the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown, Pa., and she also lived in Huffville, before moving to Hillsborough in 1949.
Mrs. Buss worked for Sun Gas in Hillsborough as an office manager, and a phone operator for many years working for Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead and the Princeton Medical Center in Princeton.
For many years she was a member of the Pittman Eastern Star Chapter 57 and the Somerville Baptist Church.
Her husband, Roy Buss, died in 1986; an infant son, Robert Earl Buss, died in 1933; and sons, Roy W. Buss Jr., died in 1969 and Donald Dale Buss, died in 1975.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Godown of Sevierville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted May 3 in the Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough, followed by burial in Neshanic Cemetery, Hillsborough.
