Mark Terrizzi, 20, of North Brunswick was charged with a battery of drug possession and motor vehicle charges after being stopped by police on April 25.
Hillsborough police stopped Mr. Terrizzi at 12:20 a.m. on Amwell Road in Franklin Township after the officer conducted a random check of Mr. Terrizzi’s license plate and found his driver’s license had been suspended and that he was wanted on two outstanding warrants, police said.
Police also found marijuana on Mr. Terrizzi and determined the vehicle he was driving was uninsured, police said.
Mr. Terrizzi was charged with possession of the controlled dangerous substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a vehicle, driving while suspended and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said. He was later released pending a municipal court appearance.

A Pierson Drive resident reported on April 17 that his fence had been vandalized with graffiti.
According to a police report, the resident called police at approximately 2:45 p.m. and informed them that someone had defaced the fence outside his home by painting a vulgar obscenity in black spray paint.
The resident estimated that it would cost about $30 to have the graffiti removed.
