A cartoon offers the best rebuttal to the liberal media canard.

Tom Tomorrow hits the nail on the head with a cartoon today on Salon. (You may have to click through some annoying ads to get to it, but it’s worth it.)
As Eric Alterman points out in his book, "What Liberal Media," the notion that the mainstream media establishment is filled with a bunch of left-over radicals and liberals is about as accurate as calling Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld a peacenik.
But where Mr. Alterman takes 322 rant-filled pages to make his point, Tom Tomorrow gets the job done in a simple six-panel cartoon. Anyone who has watched the press function as propaganda machine for the Bush administration will appreciate this cartoon.
