A $191,000 bond ordinance for improvements to the township’s sewer utility system was introduced by a unanimous vote of the full Hopewell Township Committee May 15.
Also introduced by a unanimous committee vote May 15 was a $19,600 bond ordinance for improvements to the township’s water utility system.
Both ordinances are scheduled for a public hearing and adoption vote at the committee’s June 5 meeting.
The sewer bond would pay for a pump and check valve, a shed for controls, engineering work and a new truck. The truck would cost $18,000.
The bond for the water utility would pay for new hydrants, a submersible pump and a universal valve and key set.
