BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP

   Timothy Kerr, 26, of Gloucester and Vance Williams, 37, of Williamstown were charged with theft and possession of narcotics at 5 p.m. on May 6.
   Police received a call from employees at the Acme Supermarket on Route 130 reporting that security had a shoplifter in custody, police said. Officers interviewed security personnel, who said they saw Mr. Kerr running from the store with a shopping cart full of groceries, police said. Security followed Mr. Kerr outside and saw him loading the groceries into a car, police said.
   When the security guard approached the car, it began to pull away. He ordered the driver to stop, and placed the driver and passenger in custody until officers could arrive, police said.
   Mr. Kerr said he saw a loaded cart in the store and began pushing it outside. He was the passenger in the car and said he did not know the driver, but asked him for a ride, police said. The driver of the car, Mr. Williams, also denied knowing Mr. Kerr, police said.
   Officers searched the car and found a clear plastic bottle between the front seats with a green liquid in it, which they suspected to be methadone, police said. Officers also found a burned spoon and rolling papers on the front passenger floorboard, police said.
   Both men were charged with shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drugs. Warrants for each totaled $8,500.
   Mr. Kerr and Mr. Williams were unable to post bail and were taken to Burlington County Jail.

   Corey Martin, 26, of Trenton was charged with possession of marijuana at 1:42 p.m. on May 14.
   Police found that there was a Georgia warrant for Mr. Martin for a probation violation. Officers went to Jaron’s Furniture on Route 206, where he worked as a shipping clerk, to detain Mr. Martin and found him in the break room.
   Officers searched Mr. Martin and found a small plastic bag containing a brown leafy substance, which they suspected to be marijuana, in his left jacket pocket, police said.
   Bail for Mr. Martin was set at $2,500. He posted 10 percent and was released, pending a court date of May 21.

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP

   Ronald S. Bohn, 39, of Florence was charged with driving while intoxicated at 10:28 p.m. on May 13.
   Police received a report that a driver on Florence-Columbus Road was weaving all over the road, police said. The caller gave a description of the vehicle and the license plate number and said the car was headed toward Florence.
   Officers spotted Mr. Bohn’s car and stopped it near the 600 block of East Third Street. After performing a field sobriety test, officers charged Mr. Bohn with driving while intoxicated, polices said.
   He was released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

   Jason Wilkins, 29, of Roebling was charged with driving while intoxicated at 2:33 a.m. on May 18.
   Officers stopped Mr. Wilkins for allegedly speeding on West Front Street, police said. After Mr. Wilkins performed a field sobriety test, the officers determined he was intoxicated, police said.
   Mr. Wilkins was issued summonses for speeding and driving while intoxicated, then was released pending a court date.

   Kristina Lavoie, 21, Felix Medina, 25, Paul Ramos, 20, all of Florence, and Samuel Martinez, 26, of Trenton were charged with numerous drug offenses at 12:25 a.m. on May 20.
   Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on West Front Street and found the car, which belongs to Ms. Lavoie. Officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana and several weapons, police said.
   Police would not reveal what weapons they found.
   Ms. Lavoie and Mr. Ramos were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park.
   Bail was set for each at $2,500. They were given the option to post 10 percent. Ms. Lavoie was able to post $250 and was released. Mr. Ramos was transported to Burlington County Jail in default of bail.
   Mr. Medina and Mr. Martinez were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park, along with possession of an unlawful weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
   Bail was set for both men at $2,500 without the option of posting 10 percent because of the weapons charges. Both were transported to Burlington County Jail in default of bail.
