Borough police seeking donation of cellphones

The Princeton Borough Police Department’s Cellphones for Senior Citizens program may run out of phones and the department is seeking donations of old phones from the public.
Lt. Dennis McManimon said the department’s Safe Neighborhoods Unit has only 10 phones left and may soon need to start a waiting list.
He even donated some of his old cellphones.
"I brought in a couple that I had sitting around the house," Lt. McManimon said. The phones are programmed only to dial 911, he said.
Individuals who would like to donate cellphones may bring them and accessories to the Princeton Borough Police Department at 1 Monument Drive. For more information contact the police department at (609) 924-4141.
