Polling location changed

YMCA no longer able to accomodate voters

Township officials want residents to be aware of a change in polling location for three of Hillsborough’s voting districts.
As of June 3, the date of this year’s primary election, residents living in voting districts 3, 9 and 31 should be aware that the Hillsborough YMCA is no longer the polling location for those districts.
The districts’ new polling location is now the Hillsborough Municipal Building.
Hillsborough Municipal Clerk Ann Marie McCarthy explained that the YMCA had indicated to the township that it no longer had enough space to provide for the polls and voters.
As a result, polls for all three districts will be located at the municipal building.
For this year’s Township Committee race, Republicans Carl Suraci and Bob Wagner and Democrats Bill Gold and Dale Gordon are all running without any opposition from fellow party members in their bids to vie for two seats on the Township Committee that will be up for election in November.
Polls for the June 3 primary will be open throughout the township between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. at all other usual locations.
