James A. Murphy
   WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — James A. Murphy, 76, died May 19 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born and raised in Jessup, Pa., he resided in the Hamilton/Trenton area since 1952.
   He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the USS Tucson and in the Korean War.
   Mr. Murphy was a retired pipefitter with the Plumber & Steamfitters Local #322.
   Son of the late Brendan A. and Anna Layden Murphy and brother of the late Brendan J. Murphy and Nan Murphy, he is survived by his wife, Shirley Murphy; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy A. and Nick Debnarik Jr. of Bordentown; a son, Brian Murphy of Maple Shade; a sister, Marie Bilotta of Spotswood; two grandsons, Nicholas Debnarik III and Michael M. Debnarik of Bordentown; his former wife, Judy Murphy of Trenton; a special friend, Pat Sprague of Robbinsville; his dog, Ginger; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
   Funeral services were held from Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square.
   Funeral Mass was celebrated from St. Gregory the Great Parish Center, Hamilton Square.
   Interment was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
