Charles Dzingleski Jr., 78, died Friday, May 23, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Helmetta, he lived in Jamesburg for the past 42 years. He retired in the early 1980s after over 20 years as a mechanic at Algro Knitting Mills in Milltown. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a former member of St. James Knights of Columbus Council 6336 in Jamesburg.
His wife, Palm Josephine Dzingleski, died in 1980. His brothers, Joseph and Edward and a sister, Adele Scaletti, also are deceased. He is survived by two sons, Michael of Jamesburg and David and his wife, Chrissy, of Monroe; a brother, Vick Dzingleski of Florida; a sister, Mary Sielewicki of South River; four grandchildren, Danielle, Michelle, J.T. and Haley; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial took place at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick under the direction of M. David DeMarco Funeral Home in Monroe.
