Says goodbye to Dorothy Stults, 79.

People who knew Dorothy E. Stults say they’ll remember her as a "good gal."
Ms. Stults, 79, died Monday. She was a 45-year resident of Cranbury.
"She was a real lady," Rosemary Seghatolaslami of the Cranbury Woman’s Club said. "Real refined and we’ll miss her a lot."
Ms. Stults was an active member of the Cranbury Woman’s Club, a volunteer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and worked with the Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society as a docent at the Cranbury Museum. She also was an elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury.
"She was a wonderful docent," said Ginny Swanagan of the Historical and Preservation Society.
Ms. Stults was in charge of greeting and directing Cranbury Museum patrons around to exhibits, explaining each one in detail.
Fellow Historical Society member Lisa Beach said Ms. Stults was an asset to the community and someone knowledgeable in the township’s treasured history.
"She was very dedicated to the Historical Society," Ms. Beach said. "She had been with the society from the beginning and was a loving and knowledgeable member. She had a gracious presence at the museum and I enjoyed being here with her."
Township Historian Betty Wagner said she knew Ms. Stults through the Historical Society activities and remembered her as a "good gal."
Other members of a Historical Society felt the same way.
"She was a lovely, lovely lady," Lil Conley said.
Lyn Green worked with Ms. Stults quite a bit at the museum.
"She was very organized and followed up on everything," Ms. Green said. "If she had a job, she did it well. Dorothy was very warm and engaging with people. It’s a real loss."
As part of the Cranbury Woman’s Club, Ms. Seghatoleslami said, Ms. Stults was an asset.
"Dotty was wonderful about opening her home up to members for meetings," Ms. Seghatoleslami said. "She was very gracious and we’ll miss her a lot."
Ms. Stults was a lifetime New Jersey resident. She was born in Salem and graduated from Woodstown High School.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley C. Stults Sr. of Rossmoor ; three sons, Lee Johnson of Texas, Larry Johnson of Virginia and John Johnson of California; three brothers Al, Dave and Cliff; a sister, Barbara Jones of Georgia; two grandchildren, Jenny and Kim; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. June 8 at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury. A private interment ceremony will follow that day.
